2015 Fund Raising Campaign Launched

MWC started in 1994 as an all-volunteer organization.  We remain that way today.  Although we operate on a shoestring budget, there are expenses, the biggest of which is this website which allows us to get the message of northeast wolf recovery around the globe.  In 2015, we hope to raise $2,000 which will allow us to purchase a digital projector, laptop, screen and perhaps a sound system to give power point presentations around the state and maybe elsewhere as time permits.  Once we reach our goal and purchase the equipment, we will put photos of the equipment on our website.  Here is one photo from our presentation.

Maine Wolf Coalition

If you have already donated to MWC, we and the wolves thank you.  If you haven’t, we hope you will consider it.  You can do so by clicking on the yellow “Donate” button below.  You can also donate by sending a check to:  The Maine Wolf Coalition, Inc., 30 Meadow Wood Drive, South China, ME  04358.  As a small, all-volunteer organization, we get a very big bang for the buck, given our limited resources.  We have no overhead (our headquarters is located in my basement) and all services are donated by Meredith, Walt, Annie and myself.  For such a small organization, we are a major player in the northeast wolf recovery issue with more than two decades of experience behind us.  We are frequently called upon to respond to press inquiries and we continue to be the only organization in Maine focused entirely on wolf recovery.  Maine has the greatest biological potential for natural wolf recovery of any state in the northeast, so it is critical that Maine have a wolf advocacy organization.  We’ve served in that role since 1994 and with your help, we will continue to do so

We thank you for your support and we offer our Best Wishes to you and the wolves in 2015!

John Glowa, President
