Wolves in the News

First wolves killed in more than a century in New Brunswick and Newfoundland

Wolf Recovery in Maine

  • Research

Since 2019, we have been collecting scat for DNA analysis and placing and monitoring trail cameras across thousands of square miles of the Maine woods.

  • Education

Over three decades, we have given dozens of presentations, appeared on television and radio programs speaking on behalf of wolves, written numerous op-eds and letters to the editor, and maintained a website, Facebook page, and wolf display to educate the public about the importance of wolves in the ecosystem.

  • Protection

We have worked to be a voice for wolves by advocating for the protection they are legally entitled to under the Endangered Species Act.
